Hi. I’m Dom. I am part of the internet, a small part but a part none the less.

I spend my spare time blogging, surfing, reading the Mac News, listening to various tech podcasts, and thats just my spare time.

I spend my days working for a pension and insurance company in Birmingham where I get slowly bored and wish  I was elsewhere.
To that end, I am studying for my CompTIA A, and will then go on to the N+, MCSA and Cisco qualifications. I am looking to get a job in network or hardware engineering and administration. So if you want a young trainee who works hard, then drop me an email.

Tech Specs:
My main machine (and only really) is a Powerbook G4 1.5Ghz, 1.5Gb Ram, 80Gb HDD. I connect via a Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT.
I own a 3G 20GB iPod, and a 5G 80GB iPod with Video. I am looking forward to getting an iPhone as soon as it hits the UK.
I use a Canon Exilim EX-11
I’m often found using my Nokia N70, but I have a Nokia 6280 as backup.
I also own a HP iPaq 5450 which was used for Sat Nav (running TomTom)

I love my Apple products, would hate to use Windows full time but would like to get a Macbook Pro and test out Bootcamp or Parallels with Vista.

Music:
I have a varied music taste. I like Barenaked Ladies, Dashboard Confessional, Guster, Taking Back Sunday, The Pixies, The Long Winters, +44, and many more.

TV:
I enjoy watching Heroes, Lost, Smallville, Scrubs, Futurama, Gilmore Girls (now finished), The OC (also finished). I also enjoy Mythbusters, Friends and some others

  4. I didn’t realise you had a blog until yesterday. Well done! It’s inspiring me to start keeping my blog up to date, as I’ve been very lax at blogging over the past year.

The missus is very excited about her new blog I set up for her here: http://www.direktion-coaching.com.

Re: FON – shouldn’t really be the problem that John had with his. I’ve just helped Peter Boynton over the phone with his, and he seems pretty happy.

    See you on the 12th?
